I would also recommend a Scarlet>Fire for "Type 2" jamming...it's from Lehigh Univ. 9-25-81, and the reason I recommend it is b/c it really takes off in many different directions; goes slow, fast, in between; trippy yet rhythmic, and ultimately hits a hard post into a very smoking "Fire."

Give it a try...hope it fits the criteria.
